Car Updates

Lucky for me one of the guys I work with came over last night and we fixed the car window. Had to replace the window regulator and the glass clips. Spent about $110...not bad considering it would have been @$400 at the shop. Now if I can just get rid of that spilled chili smell! It's not so appetizing after fermenting in the hot car.

Ang let me test drive a F150 yesterday too. I like it, if I can get the right price!

New glasses

It's official...Katelyn has glasses! Poor kid already 20/200...must take after her Dad. She's pretty happy about getting them though...she's been squinting for so long.

Vehicle Issues

Two vehicles in the Kenney family...both within 3K of 100K miles. The car has two windows that don't work...rear passenger motor is out so it's taped up. Now passenger side window falls down into door last night. I have a lovely piece of plastic taped in right now (good thing since we just had a nice T-storm roll thru).

Hmm...I might have to break down and buy that truck!

Hot!

Summer is here this weekend...in the 90s! Once again we're fighting our AC...it worked just enough yesterday to keep the house coolish, before it froze up. Was able to run it a little last night before it froze up again. Hopefully I'll be able to get my neighbor (who works for a HVAC company) to come over today and recharge the system. We've got to break down and get a new unit this year too. We're probably going to have our neighbor put it in.

"Hunnerware"

Nicholas asked Angie "why do we have to wear hunnerware (translation: underwear) on the drive home from school yesterday. She didn't have a great answer for him...we might have to watch out for a 4yr old going commando now! I told her hunnerware is important because zippers are dangerous!
