"Flip The Script"

Test time...are you ready?  Ok, what & when was the last positive thought you had about someone else that you expressed out loud? It seems that sometimes it's much easier for us to go negative on people in our words, our actions and our thoughts than it is to express the positive thoughts we have.  Sometimes we are even the hardest on those closest to us.

I recently read a book and in it was a suggestion to "Keep track of your negative". Much like people may keep track of calories, miles run, miles driven, etc,; keep track of your negative thoughts or words each day. At the end of the day take a look at the list.  I bet my list will longer than I want it to be.

You should check out this book...it's a quick read, but it's realistic and challenging.

Norfolk Tides

I spent the week in San Antonio on business this past week.  I got home Friday late afternoon in time for the KenneyKrewe to pack up and go to a Tides game with some friends. The weather was perfect and the game was close the entire way with the Tides winning in the bottom of the 9th!

(The stands looks empty in the most of the pictures because I took the kids pictures after the game was over.)

Florida Vacation

We had a great time in Florida!  The weather was great (no tropical storm effects), we enjoyed some pool time, boat rides, fireworks from the water, relaxation, and fun.  Thanks to Karen & Archie for allowing Emma to bring her friend Peyton too!  Plus they kept Nicholas for an extra week to enjoy some grandparents time by himself.

Camping Trip
