The weekend is here! The 1st weekend in a LONG time where we don't have gymnastics event or a volleyball event. It's almost weird!
The girls wasted no time and made some plans of their own. Emma spent the night at a friends house (in fact she's still there) and Katelyn had her "bestie" over last night (and she's still here). Nicholas went to Lowe's today with the neighbor boy and his Dad to do a free project of some sort. I'm anxiously awaiting to see what he brings home.
We've got paperwork into a new school for the kids next year. Just waiting for all the recommendations and school records to get there and then we should have a couple interviews with the principal's (upper school for Emma, grammar school for Katelyn and Nicholas) to hopefully finalize it and get their spots for next year. The school is bigger than what they're at now and will offer some more opportunities for them.
We have to bite the bullet and get our AC replaced. We've limped it along the past 5yrs and now that the cost of refrigerant it uses has skyrocketed it's not cheap to get it recharged at least once (if not more) a year so it's time to get it replaced. It's scheduled to be replaced this coming week.

Good to hear that you are having a quiter weekend. I hooked up my own computer at Uncle Denney's house so now have Skype and will try to reach you guys after church on Sunday. New and larger school sounds exciting for the kids though I asume there will be adjustments with old and new friends. Does Angela plan to continue teaching at the smaller school or is she making the change too? Weather is finally beautiful here in Illinois. No need for air conditioning as yet.
ReplyDeleteGramps sure loves the Kenney Krewe!!!!
